Santa Clara - 6/1/2009 - Macrovision Solutions Corporation (NASDAQ: MVSN) today announced Sony has licensed interactive program guide (IPG) technology and patents from Macrovision. The multi-year agreement will allow Sony to continue to use Macrovision's IPG technology and patents, under the company's Gemstar patent portfolio, for its products.
