  • Essential Recommendations - offers item-based recommendations that returns recommendations similar to requested items ("You might also like…")
  • Advanced Recommendations - offers enhanced personalization capabilities and includes editorial, community and client catalog recommendations, as well as merchandise and promotions management and playlists

Personalized Recommendations
Enables personalized results by integrating user behavior and preferences, including ratings and reviews, movie and song choices and purchases made by the user.

Community Recommendations
Incorporates user-generated contributions and sharing with popular social networks

Client Catalog Recommendations
Integrates any catalog or combination of catalogs and returns only recommendations that are available in those catalogs, such as TV listings, VOD or third-party catalogs (e.g., Hulu, Netflix)

Popular Recommendations
Refines recommendation results to favor popular music, movies and TV content. Popularity can be determined by how "hot" a song, program, celebrity or film is at any given time as well as by the number of people generally aware of a certain item or person.

New Content Recommendations
Refines recommendation results to favor newly released content

Editorial Recommendations
Returns results that incorporate your editorial point of view
